Mahesh Babu In SSMB29: In an exciting development, the shooting for actor Mahesh Babu’s movie with SS Rajamouli, SSMB29, has finally started. The collaboration between both of them has already created plenty of hype. The actor on Thursday was snapped at the pooja ceremony in Hyderabad, which marked the film’s launch. The project has not been titled yet and is a pan-world African Jungle adventure that will feature Mahesh Babu portraying the role of an explorer inspired by Lord Hanuman.
The visuals of Mahesh Babu arriving at the film's pooja ceremony went viral on social media, creating more anticipation and excitement among the fans. SS Rajamouli's car was also spotted arriving at the venue.

Adding to the hype, actress Priyanka Chopra has reportedly been roped in as the female lead in the movie opposite Mahesh Babu. Pinkvilla quoted the statement of a source close to the development, “Priyanka Chopra is excited to collaborate with a maverick like SS Rajamouli and partner with Mahesh Babu to create an adventure like never before. It’s an uncharted territory for her as well, and the character has scope for a lot of action along with the leading man – Mahesh Babu. It’s a well-crafted role and Priyanka has already started her prep for the film.”

The movie is written by Vijayendra Prasad and is being helmed by SS Rajamouli. This project marks the first collaboration of SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu. As per several reports, a major Hollywood studio would also be involved in the film's production. The movie will be shot in global locations. The official details about the film's cast have not been disclosed yet.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu recently lent his voice to the Telugu version of Mufasa: The Lion King. The actor also expressed gratitude for the opportunity on his social media platforms.
