Renowned Indian actor and filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar recently expressed his admiration for Shah Rukh Khan. The veteran actor stated that SRK is very underrated as an actor. He called him extraordinary and stated that he is easy in front of the camera. Manjrekar further wants him to play a paid assassin in his directorial movie. The veteran star mentioned that he has an ideal script for Shah Rukh Khan. He also said many good things about the superstar. 

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Mahesh Manjrekar said “There is one actor who, as an actor, who is very underrated but I feel he is brilliant, is Shah Rukh Khan. As an actor, he is extraordinary. He is so easy in front of the camera. It's a brilliant film where I want him to play a paid assassin. Extraordinary film. As I said, he who must have graduated in economics, then somewhere he has come here, so he's always well dressed, has a rimless glass ka chashma (spectacles). And he believes ki he is the best today because he plans everything routinely. It's a very very very good rule.” 

Mahesh Manjrekar is known for his role in movies like Antim: The Final Truth, Wanted, Vaastav: The Reality, Natsamrat, De Dhakka 2, Dabangg and City of Gold to name a few. 

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his upcoming movie King. The movie has been directed by Siddharth Anand and will also feature his daughter Suhana Khan. Confirming the news about the film, SRK said at an event in Abu Dhabi “I am just just shooting it. I will be shooting it for a couple of months. My director, Siddharth Anand, is very strict. He made Pathaan also. He has asked me not to reveal what we are doing. I can’t tell you but I can assure you that it will be entertaining. You will enjoy it.”
