Mahima Chaudhary, who made her Bollywood debut with the film Pardes directed by Subhash Ghai, has carved a significant fan base with her impressive acting skills. However, her personal life has often made headlines, especially her relationship with former Indian tennis player Leander Paes. The duo dated for about three years, with Mahima being a constant support for Paes, often seen cheering him on at his matches.
Their relationship, however, ended on a sour note. In an interview with Miss Malini, Mahima revealed that Paes was unfaithful, citing his affair with model Rhea Pillai as the reason for their breakup. She expressed her feelings, stating, "He may be a good tennis player, but he didn’t play fair with me. It wasn’t shocking for me when I came to know that he was going around with someone else. His exit had no impact on my life. I became more mature as a person." Mahima also mentioned that Paes repeated similar behaviour with Rhea, leading to domestic violence allegations against him. The court ordered Paes to pay Rhea a monthly rent of Rs 50,000 and a maintenance fee of Rs 1 lakh if she chose to leave their shared residence.
After her split with Paes, Mahima married architect businessman Bobby Mukherji in 2006. Unfortunately, their marriage faced difficulties and by 2011, they were living separately due to compatibility issues. Mahima has a daughter, Ariana, from her marriage with Bobby Mukherji.
