Mahira Khan is a renowned actress in the Pakistani entertainment industry, celebrated for her exceptional talent and versatility. She gained widespread recognition for her role in the Bollywood film 'Raees,' where she starred opposite Shah Rukh Khan. The actress continues to showcase her acting prowess in various Pakistani films and television dramas. Additionally, Mahira has ventured into the realm of streaming platforms, being cast in Netflix's first Pakistan-themed original series, 'Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo.'

During a discussion on digital platform, the actress talked about rumours surrounding her pregnancy, upcoming projects, and her marital status. For those unaware, Mahira recently entered her second marriage with Pakistani businessman Salim Karim in October 2023. Refuting the pregnancy rumours as baseless, Mahira speculated that this may have stemmed from her recent weight gain. Furthermore, she mentioned other false rumors circulating, including her departure from an OTT series and a major film project.

"Oh, that I am pregnant. It’s not weird, it’s just a rumour. I don't know where they came up with it, I think it's because I've put on weight, but then they also said that I've left the Netflix series and a major film and whatnot. So, yeah but it's not true," the actress said.

Prompted to share her thoughts on her significant other, Mahira initially hesitated but eventually revealed her feelings. She acknowledged that one aspect she finds challenging about her husband is his reserved nature when it comes to expressing emotions. "I hate that he's not expressive; I tolerate that he's not expressive. Okay, no. Sometimes, I like the music to be turned off, but he likes the music to be on all the time. It's like the minute he wakes up, he wants the music on, and I like listening to the sound of birds. I like that. What do I love? I love the fact that he tolerates the fact that I like having breakfast alone."

Additionally, Mahira emphasised the importance of financial independence for women. She encouraged women to pursue avenues for earning, whether through remote work or traditional office settings. The actress underscored the strength and courage inherent in women, urging them to acknowledge their accomplishments and prioritise self-love.
