Malaika Arora had earlier shared that her parents Joyce Polycarp and Anil Arora separated when she was only 11 years old. After the divorce, Malaika and Amrita Arora were raised by their mother Joyce.

In a conversation with a magazine, Malaika had shared, “My parents’ separation allowed me to observe my mother through a new and unique lens.
