Malavika Mohanan is currently basking in the success of her latest Tamil movie release Thangalaan alongside Vikram. The actress recently talked about her upcoming film Yudhra opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi. She said that it is a completely different world from Thangalaan which excited and attracted her the most towards the project. She also hopes that filmmakers see her versatility and that she can fit into different roles. Mohanan further asserted that all the projects she is part of now will showcase her in different characters. 

In an interview with News 18, Malavika said “The film I have done with Siddhant Chaturvedi is produced by Excel Entertainment and that’s releasing next month. We will just put out the trailer in a few days. In comparison to Thangalaan, it is a whole different world. That’s also exciting for me. All of these roles are so different from each other that it is nice for an actor to be a part of so many versatile films. I hope more makers see me so that they see how I fit into different roles.” 

She will be also seen in The Raja Saab alongside Prabhas. The actress while updating about the movie, said “It is a horror romantic film. It will be out next summer.” 

Ravi Udyawar’s directorial Yudhra is an action-romance drama. It stars Raghav Juyal, Malavika Mohanan, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Shilpa Shukla, Raj Arjun, Gajraj Rao, Ram Kapoor and Rengarajan Jaiprakash in key roles. The movie is scheduled to be released in theatres on 20th September. 

Malavika Mohanan was last seen in Thangalaan. The movie also features Vikram, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Daniel Caltagirone, Muthu Kumar, Pasupathi, Preeti Karan and Sampath Ram in key roles. The movie was released in theatres on 15th August. It was a huge blockbuster at the box office as it crossed Rs 100 crore mark.
