Malavika Jayaram, daughter of the renowned Malayalam actor duo Jayaram and Parvathy, exchanged vows with Navaneeth Gireesh at the Guruvayur temple on Friday (May 3). Actor Kalidas Jayaram, Malavika's brother, graced the event with his presence. The ceremony was attended by close family and friends, with notable guests such as Suresh Gopi and others the film industry in attendance.
Malavika's got engaged in Madikeri, Karnataka, back in December. Unfortunately, many were unable to attend due to the severe flooding in Chennai at the time. She announced her relationship through social media, introducing her fiancé to her followers in a heartfelt birthday message.
Later, Jayaram introduced Navaneeth Gireesh by sharing a photo of him and Malavika from their engagement ceremony in December.

About Malavika and Navaneeth
Malavika, who graduated from Stella Maris College, pursued her Masters in Sports Management in Wales. Navaneeth, originally from Palakkad, is employed as a chartered accountant in the UK. He is the son of Gireesh Menon, a member of the Keezheppat family from Nenmara, Palakkad, and a former UN official.
Who is Jayaram?
Jayaram is a highly acclaimed Indian actor, predominantly working in the Malayalam film industry. He made his debut in the 1988 film 'Aparan' directed by P. Padmarajan. He quickly rose to prominence with his versatile performances and comedic timing. Jayaram has portrayed a wide range of characters across various genres, including comedy, drama, and action. Some of his notable films include 'Thoovalsparsham,' 'Manassinakkare,' 'Kilukkam,' and 'Meleparambil Aanveedu.'
Alongside acting, he is skilled in chenda percussion, mimicry, and occasional playback singing. With over 200 films to his credit, Jayaram has received several prestigious awards, including the Padma Shri, two Kerala State Film Awards, one Tamil Nadu State Film Award, and four Filmfare Awards South. His outstanding performance in the Tamil film 'Thenali' earned him two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards.
