Malli Pelli OTT Release Date: The film Malli Pelli has become a major topic of conversation in recent times. It delves into the real-life love story of Naresh, who has been married three times before, and his current live-in partner Pavitra Lokesh. Directed by MS Raju, the film serves as their biopic and was released in theatres on May 6.
As per the latest update, Amazon Prime has acquired the streaming rights of the film at a significant price. Despite not generating substantial revenue through its theatrical release, the film's producers have managed to secure profits through the lucrative OTT deal with Prime.
After a decent opening on its first day and receiving mixed reviews for its family-oriented storyline, Malli Pelli experienced a decline in box office performance after two days of release. Now Malli Pelli is all set for its digital debut Amazon Prime on either June 24.
Despite the makers' attempts to negotiate for an earlier OTT release date in exchange for a higher price, Amazon did not display much enthusiasm for the deal. As a result, the film is being released on the streaming platform approximately one month after its theatrical debut.

In Malli Pelli, Naresh portrayed the role of a film star who develops a romantic relationship with his co-star, portrayed by Pavitra Lokesh. Notably, Jayasudha also played a significant character in the film. Malli Pelli held a special significance as it marked the final film of the late Sarath Babu's illustrious career. Sadly, he passed away just days before the film's release.
The film's marketing campaign took an audacious approach, with Naresh and Pavitra making provocative statements about their relationship during interviews, garnering significant attention from the media and generating daily headlines.
Apart from Malli Pelli, Amazon Prime Video also has Kandahar set to release June 16. It is an intense American action thriller directed by Ric Roman Waugh and features a stellar cast including Gerard Butler, Navid Negahban, Ali Fazal, Bahador Foladi, Nina Toussaint-White, Vassilis Koukalani, Mark Arnold, Corey Johnson, and Abdullah Alnaji.
