2023 Cannes Film Festival is almost here and all eyes are on the red-carpet appearances which will begin from May 16, 2023. Indian celebrities including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, and more are known for their exceptional looks over the years, but do you know there's one actor who has captured millions of hearts by attending prestigious event almost every year?

The Murder actor has ultimately managed to pull off a couple of costumes, despite her early designs failing the audience mood test.

Mallika Sherawat made her Cannes debut in a white-coloured co-ord set, which also turned out to be one of the most controversial ones. Many others questioned how she managed to attend such a prominent occasion in an all-white outfit. Her blouse featured a plunging neckline and she paired it with a high-slit skirt of the same fabric. Mallika accessorised her look with earrings, a wristwatch, and a piece of arm jewellery.

In 2014, Mallika Sherawat attended the Cannes Film Festival in a blue lacy gown by designer Emilio Pucci. Her look was not very well praised by the audience at the prestigious event.

Mallika's 2015 look was quite appealing. She donned a silver and blue dress by Hobeika embroidered with crystals. The Murder star paired it with a floral diamond neckpiece by Maison Mellerio.

She also donned a cape-adorned fuchsia pink gown by Alexis Mabille the same year. Mallika paired it with a stunning flowery Boucheron neckpiece.

Sherawat's 2017 red carpet look became the talk of the town in a go. The actor-model turned heads in a 3D-printed gown by Georges Hobeika in 2017. The gown featured a long train with flower embellishments all over it. She accessorized her look with a simple necklace.

In 2018, Mallika participated in the event as a representative of the non-governmental organisation Free-A-Girl, which fought to end child prostitution and trafficking worldwide. She was then dressed in a lilac gown from Swan Lake.

In 2019, Mallika impressed the audience with her stunning appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. She looked gorgeous in a shimmery grey-coloured body-hugging gown by Tony Ward featuring a floor-sweeping trail and a plunging neckline. Mallika simply completed her look with a pair of earrings.

She is highly recognised for both her provocative words and her daring avatars.
