Mardaani 3 Advance Booking: The highly anticipated crime thriller Mardaani 3 is officially set to premiere in cinemas on 30 January 2026. This third chapter in Yash Raj Films’ successful cop franchise marks the return of Rani Mukerji in her iconic role as the fearless ACP Shivani Shivaji Roy. Originally slated for a late February release, the film’s premiere was brought forward to late January. Alongside Mukerji, the sequel features Janki Bodiwala and Mallika Prasad in significant roles, adding fresh faces to the gritty franchise.

Initial figures from industry tracker Sacnilk indicate a steady start for the film's pre-release ticket sales. As of now, Mardaani 3 has sold over 2,100 tickets, with this the total collection stands at Rs 5.6 lakh approximately. Almost 1456 shows are reportedly scheduled worldwide. Trade analysts expect these numbers to rise sharply over the next 24 hours. The third instalment in the Mardaani franchise will face tough competition from Sunny Deol’s border 2.

Meanwhile, Mardaani 2 which hit theatres in 2019, opened with Rs 3.80 crore at the box office. The movie made a total lifetime collection of Rs 40 crore. Reportedly made on a decent budget of Rs 30 crore, the movie emerged as a superhit.

Mardaani 3 is directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner. The script has been penned by a collaborative writing team including Aayush Gupta, Deepak Kingrani, and Baljeet Singh Marwah, with Aayush Gupta also handling the screenplay and dialogues. Since the original film debuted in 2014, the series has been praised for its realistic portrayal of police procedures and its unflinching look at social issues. Fans are eager to see which high-stakes case ACP Shivani Roy will tackle this time.

Additionally, speaking about the movie Rani Mukerji said, “When we set out to make Mardaani 3, we were hoping that we would find a script that would take the experience of watching a Mardaani franchise film higher. Mardaani is an extremely loved franchise, and we have a certain responsibility to deliver on the expectations that people have.” She added, “Mardaani 3 is dark, deadly and brutal. So, I’m intrigued to find out the response of the people towards our film.”
