Mark Antony Box Office Collection: ‘Mark Antony’ stars Vishal Krishna and SJ Suryah in lead roles and is helmed by Adhik Ravichandran. The film hit theatres on September 15 and is witnessing a decent run at the box office since Day 1. ‘Mark Antony’ is a Science-Fiction Comedy flick which revolves around the aspects of time travel gone wrong, which is then followed by a series of unfortunate events mixed with hilarious comedy and action.
The film minted around Rs 8.5 Crore on Day 1, and collected Rs 9.11 Crore on Day 2. Since then ‘Mark Antony’ is creating decent numbers at the box office and has collected Rs 3 Crore on Day 6. The film has already minted Rs 43.35 Crore in its domestic run within its first week, and is now eyeing to enter the Rs 50 Crore club in India.

The Tamil version of the film had an occupancy of 54.36% during its first weekend, with the maximum occupancy in the evening shows, which went around 73.02%. The film has already crossed the Rs 30 Crore mark worldwide.
Ahead of the film’s release, the lead actor of the film Vishal recalled meeting with an unforeseen circumstance. According to a report in Republic World, he said, “I don't know who prayed for me because as I saw the truck driving towards us, suddenly made a turn and crashed on the side sparing both Suryah sir and me, and we came out of it without a single scratch. At that instance, I felt like I went to hell and came back."
He further added, “We were shooting for a sequence and it involved me and Suryah sir. Both of us were standing on our marks and the truck which was approaching us, lost control. We stood there frozen."
The actor continued, “I don't know who prayed for me because as I saw the truck driving towards us, suddenly made a turn and crashed on the side sparing both Suryah sir and me, and we came out of it without a single scratch. At that instance, I felt like I went to hell and came back."
Talking about their professional front, Vishal Krishna is working on ‘Thupparivaalan 2’, whereas SJ Suryah is all set for the release of his film ‘Chandramukhi 2’ alongside Kangana Ranaut and Raghava Lawrence.
