Meiyazhagan Box Office Collection Day 2: Karthik Sivakumar and Arvind Swamy starrer Tamil movie has been creating buzz on its opening weekend. The family drama depicts the emotions of a middle-aged man who visits his hometown after two decades. The much-anticipated movie was released in theatres on September 27 and had a clash with Jr NTR’s Devara Part 1. Despite the mega clash, the regional movie maintained a steady momentum at the ticket windows and saw a significant jump on the first Saturday. 

Meiyazhagan Box Office Collection Day 2

As per Sacnilk, Karthik Sivakumar and Arvind Swamy starrer earned Rs 5 crore on Day 2. The net collection of Meiyazhagan stands at Rs 8.1 crore. It earned Rs 3.1 crore on Day 1. The movie was released in only Tamil theatres. It had Tamil occupancy of 44.86 per cent on Day 2. The morning shows had 27.42 per cent occupancy, 44.31 per cent in afternoon shows, 45.88 per cent in evening shows and 61.84 per cent in night shows. 

About Meiyazhagan

The story revolves around a middle-aged man whose life changed after he visited his hometown after 22 years. The movie stars  Karthik Sivakumar, Arvind Swamy, Sri Divya, Rajkiran and Swathi Konde in key roles. The movie got positive responses from the audience and the critics. Meiyazhagan On OTT

As per reports, Netflix has bagged the digital rights of the movie. After its successful theatrical run, Meiyazhagan is all set to arrive on Netflix. However, the date will be announced later by the makers.
