In a recent interview with Ilgan Sports, ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin addressed rumours surrounding her amid the fallout with HYBE and shed light on the future of NewJeans ahead of the group's comeback next month.

Her recent comments on Kpop groups other than ILLIT copying NewJeans have gone viral. As per a Yonhap News report, Min Hee Jin also accused Kpop groups TWS and RIIZE of copying NewJeans. Also, what is seemingly garnering more netizens' reactions to the power battle is her alleged remark on Bang Si Hyuk - the creative genius behind Kpop superstars BTS. Reports suggest that HYBE found documents during the audit at ADOR that mentioned Min Hee Jin's "Copied me and created BTS" remark on Bang Si Hyuk.

Meanwhile, Min Hee Jin vehemently denied allegations that she attempted to seize HYBE's equity in ADOR or sought foreign investments. She clarified that with her 18% equity in ADOR, it would be impossible for her to seize management rights, as HYBE holds 80% equity. She also refuted claims that she tried to break off from HYBE, emphasizing that ADOR cannot leave HYBE without their consent.

The CEO stated that HYBE's push for her resignation stemmed from her raising internal issues within the company. She mentioned that after bringing up concerns related to ILLIT's copying of NewJeans, she received notice from HYBE about their intent to terminate her.

Min Hee Jin expressed surprise at the timing of HYBE's actions, particularly during a crucial period for NewJeans. She questioned HYBE's intentions behind their claims and the timing of their media play, especially noting that the fallout occurred shortly after she raised internal issues. She also questioned the need for HYBE to publish false articles during an ongoing audit, wondering why they were not addressing the actual issues she had raised.
