'Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1' features Tom Cruise and is helmed by filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie. The film performed well on its first Monday, i.e. July 17 minting around Rs 5 crore net in India, however, now the film is experiencing a slightly higher drop on weekdays due to an extended 5-day weekend, during which the film saw significant success.
After seven days, the action entertainer accounted Rs 4.35 crore in India, crossing the Rs 70 crore mark. 'Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1' is set to become the highest-grossing 'Mission Impossible' film in India, as it is estimated the film will brew a net collection of Rs 80 crore.
However, the film will be facing tough competition this week with big Hollywood releases including 'Barbie' and 'Oppenheimer.' Despite the challenging rivalry, the film will thrive to cross Rs 100 crore net mark in India. However, globally the film has minted an impressive weekend collection of around $230-235 million.

Talking about the film, 'Mission Impossible 7' revolves around Ethan Hunt, played by Tom Cruise, on a mission to track down a dangerous new weapon that poses a threat to humanity. He has the fate of the world hanging on a thread in his hand and embarks on an adrenaline-fueled adventurous yet dangerous journey.
