Lal Salaam
The story revolves around aspiring cricketers who were kicked off from their team despite being talented. It will showcase how they took it as a challenge and fulfil their dreams. The movie stars Rajinikanth, KS Ravikumar, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Senthil, Dhanya Balakrishna, Nirosha and Thambi Ramaiah in key roles. As per reports, the movie will make its digital debut on Sun NXT on September 20.
Thangalaan
Thangalaan, starring Chiyaan Vikram, is now set to make its digital debut on Netflix, the popular online streaming platform, starting from September 20, 2024. According to a report, Netflix India has acquired the digital rights for the film at a staggering price of Rs 35 crore.
Saripodhaa Sanivaaram
The Tamil film Saripodhaa Sanivaaram released theatrically on August 29, 2024, and received a lukewarm critical response. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is all set to make its OTT debut, either in the last week of September or in October, first week. The official confirmation about the movie’s digital release is yet awaited.
Vaazhai
Mari Selvaraj's latest film Vaazhai will be available for streaming on Hotstar from September 27. Vaazhai, a poignant and thought-provoking film, draws inspiration from real-life events to craft a powerful narrative that explores the trials and tribulations of raw banana plantation workers. Demonte Colony 2
Demonte Colony 2, initially delayed, released on Aug 15, 2024, and received positive reviews for its screenplay and performances. The film grossed ₹55 crore, becoming the highest-grossing in the franchise and one of 2024's top Tamil films, leading to a sequel announcement. The movie is all set to make its OTT debut on September 27, 2024.
