Coolie Movie Review: The highly-awaited Tamil actioner Coolie, which was produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures and co-written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has finally been released worldwide. The movie, which is headlined by Rajinikanth, also stars Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj and Aamir Khan. Following Coolie's release, netizens expressed their thoughts about Rajinikanth's massy actioner on X (previously Twitter). Film trackers and Rajinikanth fans' initial responses varied from calling it an absolute success to wanting more crisp, incisive storytelling.

Coolie star Rajinikanth, who is well-known for his trademark flair and commanding on-screen persona, gives another outstanding performance. Thalaiva's performance captivated many spectators, and others also lauded Aamir Khan's cameo. While others felt that the action scenes lacked evenness, the closing credits were the most memorable part.

A user wrote, "Action - choppy but decent, Screenplay - simple and engaging, Acting - nothing new, all are decent, Movie picks up after 40 min and end credit is mind-blowing. Rating - 3.5/5 (sic)." Another user wrote, "#Coolie BLOCKBUSTER. Aamir Khan’s cameo = Best of the year. The story could’ve been tighter, but Rajinikanth carries the whole show on his shoulders." A third user wrote, "#Coolie - What an Excellent intro of superstar #Rajinikanth with Verithanamana elevation."

The censor board officials have given Coolie an A (Adults Only) certificate. This marks Rajinikanth's first A-rated picture in a long time, indicating that the action sequences will be raw and intense. After nearly three decades apart, the reunion of Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan is one of the movie's greatest moments. The last time the two collaborated was on the 1995 film Aatank Hi Aatank. Aamir Khan portrays a character named Dahaa in the film Coolie.

War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR, is another blockbuster movie that will likely compete fiercely with Coolie No. 1 at the box office.
