Black-market scalpers in Chennai are reportedly charging up to Rs 4,500 for tickets. According to another estimate, Coolie has already made a substantial profit, recouping more than 66% of its Rs 375 crore investment before it was released in theaters. Tamil Nadu's first screening is scheduled for 9 am in accordance with state government regulations, but Kerala and Karnataka have announced early morning screenings beginning as early as 6 am. One million people have expressed interest in the movie, according to BookMyShow.
