Coolie Cast Fees: Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna starrer Tamil action thriller movie released in theatres on August 14, eyeing the long Independence Day weekend. The film has been making a buzz since its announcement and now, as the release date is approaching, Coolie is gearing up for a big box office opening. As per a report by The Hindustan Times, the advance booking figures worldwide crossed Rs 50 crore, with the pace showing no signs of slowing down. The movie is expected to become a blockbuster as it was made with a big star cast from the Indian film industry. The more interesting fact! All the superstars charged a high price to be part of this big-budget film, which was reportedly made at a cost of Rs 350 crore.

Rajinikanth: According to reports, the South superstar is the highest-paid actor in the film. He initially charged Rs 150 crore but after the phenomenal pre-release of Coolie, Rajinikanth got paid Rs 200 crore.

Pooja Hegde: The actress appeared in a song named Monica for which she took home Rs 3 crore.

Sathyaraj: The Baahubali fame, reportedly received remuneration of Rs 5 crore.

Lokesh Kanagraj: The filmmaker, who directed Coolie, received Rs 50 crore

Ajay Devgn: The Bollywood superstar, who has an 8-minute role in Coolie, received a paycheque of Rs 35 crore
