50 Years Of Rajinikanth: Megastar Rajinikanth is gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated action thriller Coolie, which is just one day away from hitting theatres. The actor has completed 50 remarkable years in the cinema. Fans and members of the industry are celebrating this occasion with special posts. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has also expressed his gratitude to Thalaiva for inspiring him with his work. He also revealed he will cherish all the moments and conversations shared with Rajinikanth while filming Coolie.

Coolie Director Celebrates 50 Years Of Rajinikanth

Taking to X, Lokesh Kanagaraj shared stills from Coolie set along with a heartfelt note. His post read, "#Coolie will always be a special film in my journey, and the reason this film shaped up the way it did with everyone pouring their hearts and love into it is because of you, #Thalaivar @rajinikanth sir."

Rajinikanth made his debut in the film industry in 1975 with the Tamil movie Apoorva Raagangal, directed by K. Balachander. Since then, he has delivered phenomenal performance over the years.

Talking about his upcoming Coolie movie, the action drama is backed by Sun Pictures and is slated for a release on August 14, 2025, coinciding with Independence Day weekend. The film will face a clash with War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in lead roles. Coolie stars Rajinikanth in the role of Deva alongside Aamir Khan, Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Upendra and Sathyaraj.
