Inspector Zende Review: Manoj Bajpayee and Jim Sarbh starrer Hindi comedy thriller debut movie released on Netflix today. The film is based on true events, which draws inspiration from the real-life story of Madhukar Zende, a Mumbai police officer. The inspector inked his name in history as he arrested the infamous serial killer Charles Sobhraj twice. He once caught Sobhraj in 1971 and again in Goa in 1986 after he escaped from Tihar Jail. In Inspector Zende, the names have been twisted a bit but gave due credit to the real characters.

Inspector Zende features Manoj Bajpayee as Inspector Madhukar Bapurao Zende, Jim Sarbh as Carl Bhojraj, Sachin Khedekar, Girija Oak, Bhalchandra Kadam as Bhalchandra Patil, Harish Dudhade as Jacob, Bharat Savale as Naik, Nitin Bhajan as Deshmane and Onkar Raut as Patekar.

Inspector Zende has been receiving overwhelming responses on X. Netizens gave a thumbs up to the movie, some appreciated the appearances of Manoj Bajpayee and stated that it is a real tribute to a deserving hero. Some also calle the movie ‘banger’.
