Param Sundari Movie Review: At a time when the meaning of love has been reduced to swiping right and numerous dating apps, Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra starrer new Bollywood movie Param Sundari brings a solid reason for all the hopeless romantics to believe in real love once again. Directed by Tushar Jalota, the movie is refreshing, genuine, and flat-out addictive. Ditching the typical digital dating melodrama and matchmaking algorithm, this movie reminds us that real love doesn't have a compatibility rating or a flawlessly curated bio. Sometimes, it just occurs in all its unbridled, messy, crazy glory.

Param Sundari Plot

The storyline of Paran Sundari is simple, and it is this simplicity that lends it a charm. The movie follows Param (Sidharth Malhotra), a tech guy who creates a matchmaking app. His father challenges him to find a girl with his own app in 30 days. This leads him to meet Sundari (Janhvi Kapoor), a feisty girl who doesn't believe in dating apps. Their initial awkward meetings slowly turn into a sweet, real-life love story.

Standout Performances

Param Sundari's most powerful aspect is the chemistry between the main actors-- Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor. Their connection feels incredibly natural and effortless, making their love story believable. While Sidharth Malhotra brings his signature charm and unexpected emotional depth to the role, the movie also highlights the growth of Janhvi Kapoor from hr first love story Dhadak. Her performance as Sundari is nuanced and authentic; she doesn't just act the part but lives it with humour, elegance, and sincerity. While her accent and performance have been compared to Deepika Padukone from Chennai Express, the actress maintained her individuality in the role. You'll find yourself rooting for her from the very first scene.

The supporting cast also does a great job. Sanjay Kapoor is a treat to watch with his comedic timing, and the wit of Manjot Singh keeps the mood light and fun. Other actors like Inayat Verma, Renji Panicker, and Siddhartha Shankar add emotional depth and balance to the story.

Music and Soundtrack

Much before the release of Param Sundari, it songs like Pardesiya and Laal Color Ki Saree had been topping the charts. The music is the heart of the film. The soundtrack is a big part of the experience, with six hit songs that capture every shade of romance. Every song will stay with you long after the movie ends. The title track, "Sundari Ke Pyar Mein," is especially catchy and will have you wanting to dance along.

Visually, the film is a delight. The bustling, chaotic, neon-lit startup world of Delhi is beautifully contrasted with the calm, lush backwaters of God's Own Country, Kerala, which perfectly mirrors the emotional journey of the main characters. Even the costume design tells a story, with Sundari's classic, elegant sarees and Param's casual city style showing their different backgrounds and personalities.

Param Sundari Verdict- 3.5/5 Stars

Directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, Param Sundari is the perfect romantic Bollywood that the Bollywood fans were hoping for. It doesn't try to lecture about modern dating but gently reminds that love is messy, human, and unpredictable. It makes you want to have a real connection with someone rather than swiping right on an app. Param Sundari is a perfect reminder that the most wonderful things often happen when you least expect them. It’s not just a film; it’s a beautiful tribute to love.
