Salakaar X Review: Naveen Kasturia and Mouni Roy starrer spy thriller Salakaar made its debut on JioHotstar. As per the official premise, the show is about a young Indian’s covert mission, which interweaves with a veteran spy master’s past, revealing the national secrets and hidden truths. Through intelligence and determination, the spy try to save India’s security amid sacrifice and previous burdens. The series features Naveen Kasturia, Asrar Khan, Janhavi Hardas, Mir Sarwar, Mukesh Rishi, Surya Sharma, Mouni Roy and Ayaan Lall in key roles.

Salakaar has been receiving mixed responses but what caught the attention of the viewers are the performances of the actors. Some people called the story ‘average’ while others mentioned it as a ‘gripping tale’. A netizen was also impressed with Mouni Roy’s performance in the series and called her ‘versatile’.

About Salakaar

The plot revolves around a RAW agent named Adhir Dayal, who carries out a high-stakes covert mission which targets Pakistan’s nuclear facility at Kahuta. Decades later, the shadow of the operation resurfaces as a new conspiracy begins to unfold. The series has been directed by Faruk Kabir and is backed by Sphereorigins and Mahir Films.
