Movies And Web Series Based On Journalism On OTT: In recent years, the Hindi film industry has made some intriguing stories based on the world of Journalism both in the form of movies and shows. The titles got wide recognition from the audience and the critics. Now, another anticipated show is set to be arriving on OTT is the Zee5 original series Crime Beat. The story revolves around a small-town budding Journalist, who finds himself in danger affected by a fugitive gangster. The show stars Sai Tamhankar, Saqib Saleem and Saba Azad in key roles. Dhamaka (Netflix)
The story is about a cynical former TV news anchor, who gets an alarming call on his radio show. The call gave him the chance to make a comeback in his career. The movie stars Kartik Aaryan, Amruta Subhash and Mrunal Thakur in significant roles. The 2021 film is streaming on Netflix.
Bhakshak (Netflix)
The story is about a small town female journalist, who is on a mission to solve a heinous hidden crime against teenage girls. The movie stars Bhumi Pednekar, Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastav, Sai Tamhankar, Surya Sharma and Chittaranjan Tripathy in significant roles. The 2024 movie is streaming on Netflix.
Scoop (Netflix)
The story follows the shocking murder of a Journalist which increases the thurst of a leading crime reporter, whose life turned upside down. He undergoes every challenge to seek justice for his colleague. The web series features Karishma Tanna, Harman Baweja, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Inayat Sood, Tanmay Dhanania and Tannishtha Chatterjee in key roles. The 2023 show is streaming on Netflix.
