This Friday, April 26, 2024, brace yourselves for a slew of exciting theatrical releases, including 'Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,' 'Ruslaan,' and 'Challengers.' Ruslaan

Action film helmed by director Karan Lalit Butani and produced by K. K. Radhamohan. Featuring Aayush Sharma in the lead role, the film also stars Sushrii Shreya Mishraa, Jagapathi Babu, and Vidya Malvade. Initially slated for release on January 12, 2024, the film's premiere has been rescheduled to April 26, 2024. NH Studioz has secured the theatrical rights for the movie.

Rathnam

The romantic action movie written and directed by Hari, cast Vishal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samuthirakani, and Ramachandra Raju.The story revolves around an enraged young man who finds himself entangled in turmoil while safeguarding a woman named Janani from gangsters.

Abigail

Abigail is a horror comedy with a vampire theme. Directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the film stars Angus Cloud, Alisha Weir, Melissa Barrera, Kathryn Newton, Kevin Durand, and Dan Stevens. The plot revolves around six criminals who capture a ballet dancer named Abigail, leading to an unfolding story of intrigue and humour.

Challengers

Directed by Luca Guadagnino, the sports drama stars Zendaya in the lead role. The storyline follows a tennis prodigy whose life takes a dramatic turn following a career-ending injury. It follows a professional tennis champion, played by Mike Faist, who aims for a comeback with the support of his wife, portrayed by Zendaya. Their journey intertwines with that of another player, played by Josh O'Connor, who is also the protagonist's former best friend and the ex-lover of his wife.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire

American supernatural comedy, directed by Gil Kenan and co-written with Jason Reitman, stars Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, and more. The movie sees the veteran Ghostbusters team teaming up with new recruits to save New York City from a malevolent god's spectral army.

Oru Nodi

The Tamil film helmed by director Manivarman, stars Taman and MS Bhaskar in pivotal roles. This crime thriller drama centers around the significance of time. According to the director, "The title refers to the importance of a single second. Anything can happen in an instant, and within a second, our lives can change."

Pavi Caretaker

The Malayalam film delves into the narrative of an unmarried caretaker whose life takes a transformative turn when he forges an unexpected connection. Starring Dileep, Vineeth Kumar, Swathi Konde, and Radhika Sarathkumar, the movie explores themes of companionship and personal growth. It is expected to earn well on ticket windows.

Ghilli (Re-release)

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Thalapathy Vijay’s Ghilli storms back into theaters, breaking records and capturing hearts once more. Directed by Dharani, the action-packed sports film stars Vijay as Velu, a state-level Kabaddi player entangled with the powerful local leader Muthupandi, played by Prakash Raj. When Muthupandi targets Dhanalakshmi (Trisha), Velu steps in, leading to an epic clash.
