Mrs Movie: Nishant Dahiya's portrayal in Arati Kadav's directorial has received praise. The movie Mrs, which starred Sanya Malhotra in the lead role, was just made available on ZEE5.
Nishant Dahiya portrays Nisha's (Sanya Malhotra) emotionally abusive and patriarchal husband, Diwakar. During an interview with Mid-Day, the actor shared his initial response upon being offered Mrs.
Nishant Dahiya disliked the husband's character in The Great Indian Kitchen (Malayalam version) before he was offered Mrs. Additionally, his initial reaction was to turn down the role in the hard hitting movie.

Nishant Dahiya's reluctance was a result of his encounters with abuse on social media. After Kedarnath was released in 2018, Dahiya remembers receiving hate mail on social media. He said, "I don’t want to be this person.’ I didn’t want people hating me."
The actor acknowledged that he is attempting to improve, even though he is impacted by a single critical remark. He also revealed that he had planned to reject the movie when he met with Arati Kadav for Mrs.
Nishant Dahiya added, "Arati was lovely. She came across as a warm person, and I wanted to work with her. She was keen on making this film and [hiring] me. I did say no, but after coming home, I felt I should revisit the offer."
