Mufasa The Lion King Box Office Collection Day 3: Mufasa The Lion King is one of the most anticipated animation movies of the year. It is the prequel of The Lion King which is also a cult film of all time. The originally American movie has been dubbed in several Indian languages including Hindi and Telugu. It was released in theatres on December 20, 2024. The movie has been receiving positive responses from the audience and the critics. Not only that, the film is also performing well at the box office and currently targeting to hit the Rs 50 crore mark.

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 18.25 crore on Day 3. The net collection of Mufasa The Lion King stands at Rs 40.75 crore. The total collection of the English version is Rs 15.25 crore, the Hindi version collected Rs 13.85 crore, the Telugu version earned Rs 6.6 crore and the Tamil version is Rs 5.05 crore. The worldwide collection of the movie is Rs 1040 crore. It had an overall 37.33 per cent English occupancy on Sunday, 35.06 per cent Hindi occupancy, 63.36 per cent Telugu occupancy and 61.29 per cent occupancy in theatres. On the other hand,  Vijay Sethupathi’s Viduthalai 2 had a total collection of Rs 22.7 crore.

About Mufasa The Lion King

The story revolves around the life of the orphaned cub Mufasa, who meets a sympathetic lion named Taka. Their meeting takes an exciting journey of a group of misfits searching for their destiny. Apart from SRK, his sons Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan have also lent their voices to the film. The Telugu version has been dubbed by South superstar Mahesh Babu.
