Popular Prime Video series Mirzapur is all set for its third instalment. Recently, the OTT giant held a grand event where several new shows as well as the upcoming sequels of the old shows were announced. However, Mirzapur 3 was one of them, which made fans excited about its upcoming season. Amidst all the excitement, Ritesh Sidhwani from Excel Entertainment hinted at the return of a beloved character, Munna Tripathi, much to the delight of fans.

Munna Tripathi To Make A Comeback In Mirzapur 3?

According to Film Companion, Sidhwani revealed, “Regrettably, Munna Tripathi can’t return to the series in the expected manner. However, there’s something in the works that promises to reintroduce Munna to the audience in an interesting way. You’ll just have to wait and see.”

Divyendu Sharma is the most loved character from the Mirzapur series. Divyenndu's performance as the powerful gangster, Munna Tripathi, has received high praise from critics, making him a notable presence in the series Mirzapur. His sudden departure from the show in the second season left fans surprised and craving for additional content.

'Mirzapur 3' is being bankrolled by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Kassim Jagmagia and Gurmmeet Singh under the banners Excel Media and Entertainment LLP. The web series is being directed by Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer, while it has been written by Apurva Dhar Badgaiyan, Avinash Singh Tomar, Avinash Singh and Vijay Narayan Verma.
