Murder In Mahim Twitter Review: Against the backdrop of Mumbai's crime-infested streets, Murder In Mahim exposes the grim truth behind a string of murders that rock the core of Mahim. It draws inspiration from its iconic melody, previously featured in notable Hindi films like Vishal Bhardwaj’s Kaminey (2009). At its core, the series unfolds as a classic whodunit, revolving around a midnight murder at an abandoned local station in Mumbai. Directed by Raj Acharya, the series is led by Ashutosh Rana, and Vijay Raaz. Adapted from Jerry Pinto’s 2017 novel of the same title, the JioCinema series portrays the consequences of such actions within its storyline.

Set before the landmark Supreme Court ruling of 2018 that legalised same-sex relations, Murder in Mahim depicts a narrative where consensual adult relationships result in shame, deceit, blackmail, and ultimately, death. Just hours after its debut, users exchanged their thoughts and viewpoints on social media. A user wrote, "Murder In Mahim on JioCinema is one of the best Web Series I've watched. A truly gripping crime thriller which also covers the struggles and exploitation faced by the LGBTQ community in India.#JioCinema #MurderInMahim." Another added, "Just when I thought I had it figured out, MURDER IN MAHIM threw another curveball! JioCinema Premium, you've nailed the suspense game. MURDER IN MAHIM."

A third commented, "#murderinmahim Review: Series makes you uncomfortable by its Extremely disturbing topic, Very bold & super engaging murder mystery, I wish it had ending like ASUR, but ekdam cliché ending tha Vijay Raaz performance is Bawaal Bore nahi hua."
