Murshid OTT Release: When And Where To Watch Kay Kay Menon’s Gangster Drama?

Murshid OTT Release:  Kay Kay Menon’s crime thriller web series is all set to release on a popular streaming platform soon. The higly anticipated show revolves around a former gangster, who is forced to come out of exile after his rival traps his son in a gang war. The gangster drama is set against the backdrop of Bombay’s underworld. The web series has been directed by Shravan Tiwari. The show also stars Tanuj Virwani, Vedika Bhandari, Zakir Hussain, Anang Desai, Rajesh Shringarpure, Karamveer Choudhary and Vikas Prasad in prominent roles. 

About Murshid 

The crime thriller drama will showcase Bombay’s underworld. A retired don Murshid Pathan (played by Kay Kay Menon) has been forced to step into the crime world after his son has been trapped in a gang war by his rival Farid (portrayed by Zakir Hussain). When he takes arms in his hands again, he is chased by Inspector Kumar Pratap Rana (played by Tanuj Virwani), an adopted son, who is constantly manipulated by a politician named Jayendra (portrayed by Rajesh Shringarpure).

Talking about the role, Kay Kay Menon said “Playing Murshid Pathan in this intense gangster thriller was truly exciting for me. I've always been drawn to complex characters, and Murshid is exactly that - a former don turned philanthropist, pulled back into the underworld to protect his family. The trailer just scratches the surface of his journey. It's a relatable story of how far a father can go for the sake of his family.”
