Haseen Dilruba

Vinil Mathew’s directorial delves into the life of a recently arranged married couple. The female protagonist was arrested for murdering her husband but she tries to escape from the police by making interesting stories about her marital life. The movie features Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey, Harshvardhan Rane, Aditya Srivastava, Shivaji Satam and Yamini Das in key roles. The crime thriller was released in 2021 and its sequel Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba is all set to hit the streaming platform Netflix on 9th August.

Raat Akeli Hai

A misfit cop investigates a highly mysterious family where the newly married landlord was murdered just after his marriage. The case gets difficult as everyone in the family is secretive. Honey Trehan’s directorial stars Shivani Raghuvanshi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte, Riya Shukla, Nishant Dahiya, Shweta Tripathi and Padmavati Rao in significant roles. The movie was released on Netflix in 2020.

Vardhan Ketkar’s directorial revolves around the mysterious death of a young man. The case gets complicated as after the investigation it was found that the suspect has an uncanny look alike.
