After enthralling audiences in Daaku Maharaaj, Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna is all set to return with a new action film. The movie, tentatively titled NBK111, is a collaboration between the actor and director Gopichand Malineni. This venture marks their second collaboration after Veera Simha Reddy (2023). The announcement was made by the filmmaker on social media, sparking excitement among fans.

Gopichand Malineni took to his X handle and shared a film's poster along with a caption that read, "THE GOD OF MASSES is back… and this time, we’re ROARING LOUDER! Honoured to reunite with #NandamuriBalakrishna garu for our 2nd MASS CELEBRATION together — #NBK111 This one’s going to be HISTORIC! 💥 Backed by the passionate force #VenkataSatishKilaru garu under @vriddhicinemas."

NBK111 which is being helmed by Gopichand Malineni and is backed by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas.

Nandamuri Balakrishna delivered a hit with Daaku Maharaaj, which was released in theatres on January 12 this year. The movie has earned ₹125.8 crore in worldwide collections, with the overseas collection standing at ₹18.1 crore. The story revolves around a daring robber striving for survival and trying to establish his own territory to save a young girl. A man with a criminal past fights against all odds to protect her. Besides Nandamuri Balakrishna, the movie also stars Urvashi Rautela, Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, Prakash Raj, Ronit Roy, Ravi Kishan, Shine Tom Chacko and Sachin Khedekar. Daaku Maharaaj was directed by Bobby Kolli and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya.

Apart from this, he is reportedly set to star in Rajinikanth's Jailer 2.

Meanwhile, Gopichand Malineni, who helmed Sunny Deol starrer Jaat, is basking in the success. This made his Bollywood directorial debut. The movie also starred Randeep Hooda, Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Vineet Kumar Singh and many others in key roles. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, the movie is currently streaming on OTT giant Netflix.
