These films can be watched on popular streaming platforms such as Netflix, SonLIV and Manorama Max, from the comfort of their own homes. New Malayalam OTT Releases

Pravinkoodu Shappu

Directed by Sreeraj Sreenivasan, Pravinkoodu Shappu masterfully combines humour, mystery, and outstanding performances, making it a must-watch entertainer. The story revolves around a mysterious death at a toddy shop, delving into themes of investigation, suspense, and dark comedy. Stay tuned for the OTT release, bringing this thrilling tale to your screens.

Pravinkoodu Shappu will be available for streaming on SonyLiv from April 11, 2025, two months after its theatrical release, according to OTT Play.

Jailer

Jailer is a 2023 Indian Malayalam-language historical thriller film written and directed by Sakkir Madathil. The movie stars Dhyan Sreenivasan as a prison officer, alongside Manoj K. Jayan, Divya Pillai, and Sreejith Ravi in supporting roles. Set in the 1950s, the film explores the officer's experiments to reform five prisoners charged with different crimes, all housed in a bungalow. Despite its intriguing premise, Jailer failed to impress at the box office, releasing on August 18, 2023.

Malayalam movie Jailer is now streaming ManoramaMax.

Painkili

Painkili, a 2025 Indian romantic comedy film, marks the directorial debut of Sreejith Babu, who brings to life a story written by Jithu Madhavan. The film boasts an impressive cast, including Sajin Gopu, Anaswara Rajan, and Roshan Shanavas in leading roles. The production team is notable, with actor Fahadh Faasil and director Jithu Madhavan collaborating to bring this cinematic experience to audiences. Painkili's release date coincided with Valentine's Day on February 14, 2025, adding to the film's romantic theme. Upon its release, the movie received a mixed-to-positive response from critics, indicating a promising start for the new director and his team.

Painkili will be available on ManoramaMax from April 11, 2025.

Court: State Vs A Nobody

The highly anticipated digital release of the movie has been generating significant buzz among fans, with speculation running rampant about its impending arrival on popular streaming platform Netflix, according to 123Telugu. The movie will make its OTT debut on April 11, as announced by the OTT giant.
