Kpop fans were buzzing with mixed reactions after their favourite idols attended Kanye West's Vultures 2 concert in South Korea on August 23, 2024. This was Kanye's first concert in Korea in 14 years, held at the Goyang Sports Complex in Gyeonggi-do. The rapper made a dramatic entrance on a white horse, adding to the spectacle of his “Listening Experience” event for his collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign.

Among the K-pop stars present were 2NE1’s CL and Minzy, aespa's Giselle and Winter, soloist Jeon So Mi, NewJeans’ Minji, Danielle, and Hanni, and TREASURE’s Jihoon, Hyunsuk, Yoshi, Doyoung and Haruto. Their attendance generated significant excitement, with fans taking to social media to share their enthusiasm.

However, not all reactions were positive. Some fans criticized the Kpop stars for supporting a controversial figure like Kanye West, who has faced criticism for his past remarks and actions. Online comments ranged from disappointment to comparisons with other controversial figures, questioning the celebrities' choice to be associated with the rapper.
