The ongoing dispute between NewJeans members and their agency, ADOR, has taken a significant turn after the court's recent verdict. The conflict began when NewJeans members Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein filed an injunction to suspend their exclusive contracts with ADOR. They cited concerns over the agency’s management practices and alleged that their voices were being ignored in key decisions affecting the group.

The court, however, ruled against the members’ request, stating that ADOR had not breached its contractual obligations. The ruling emphasized that while artistic freedom is important, the agency still holds the right to manage the group’s activities as per the agreement.

Following the verdict, ADOR released an official statement expressing their relief and reaffirming their commitment to NewJeans’ success. The agency acknowledged the members' concerns and stated they would strive to improve communication and working conditions. They emphasized that their goal has always been to support NewJeans and ensure the group’s global rise remains steady and impactful.

On the other hand, the NewJeans members responded with a joint statement expressing disappointment with the court’s decision. They reiterated that their intention was never to abandon the group but to fight for fair treatment and creative input in their careers. The members shared their hope that the situation would lead to better understanding and changes within the agency, fostering a healthier working environment.

The conflict has sparked divided reactions among fans and industry experts. While some support the members' fight for artistic control, others believe ADOR’s structure and management are essential for maintaining NewJeans’ brand and success.
