Jawan (2023)
Directed by Atlee, Jawan became Shah Rukh Khan’s highest-grossing movie, with a total India gross collection of Rs 761.98 cr, earning praise for its action-packed storyline and SRK’s dual role. The movie also starred Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Deepika Padukone in a cameo. With its mass appeal and powerful dialogues, it ruled the box office both domestically and overseas.
Pathaan (2023)
Marking Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback after a hiatus, Pathaan was a major success under YRF’s spy universe. Directed by Siddharth Anand, it featured Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in key roles. The film thrilled audiences with high-octane action, exotic locations, and stylish storytelling, collecting a total of Rs 543.09 cr in India. It also saw a cameo by Salman Khan, adding to its appeal.
Chennai Express (2013)
This action-comedy directed by Rohit Shetty paired SRK with Deepika Padukone in a fun-filled South-meets-North storyline. The movie blended humour, romance, and action, appealing to a wide audience. Happy New Year (2014)
Directed by Farah Khan, Happy New Year was a heist-musical drama that boasted an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, and Boman Irani,, among others. The film had a festive Diwali release and opened to massive numbers, with a total gross box office collection of Rs 295 cr in India. Its music and colourful visuals added to its mass appeal.
Dilwale (2015)
This Rohit Shetty movie reunited SRK and Kajol on-screen, sparking excitement among fans. It was a mix of romance, comedy, and action with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon also in key roles. Don 2 (2011)
Don 2, the sequel to the 2006 hit, showcased SRK in a slick, stylish avatar as the elusive Don. Zero (2018)
In Zero, SRK took on the role of a vertically challenged man. Directed by Aanand L. Rai, the movie also starred Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. Despite mixed reviews, it performed strongly in its opening week with a total collection of Rs 186 cr globally.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012)
Directed by the legendary Yash Chopra, Jab Tak Hai Jaan was his final movie and starred Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Anushka Sharma. It had soulful music by A. R. Rahman and heartfelt performances. The film did well commercially, especially due to Chopra’s legacy, with a total collection of Rs 120.85 cr in India.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is currently gearing up for his upcoming movie King, a high-octane thriller that promises to deliver classic action sequences. The movie marks Suhana Khan’s big-screen debut alongside a star-studded cast, which includes Deepikaa Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma, Raghav Juyal, and Anil Kapoor. Reportedly Anil Kapoor has also come on board to play Shah Rukh Khan's handler and mentor in the movie. King is slated to release between October and December in 2026.
