Aap Jaisa Koi Trailer Out
The trailer introduces viewers to a romance between a traditional and reserved Sanskrit professor, Shrirenu, played by R Madhavan and a modern woman, Madhu Bose ( Fatima Sana Shaikh). Their ideologies of romance clash after the involvement of Shrirenu's family. Shrirenu is a 42-year-old man, raised in a rigid Jamshedpur-based family filled with patriarchs norms, where women are questioned for drinking or discussing politics. In contrast, Madhu comes from an independent family and belives in living her life on her own terms.

The family drama not only centres around love but also companionship and the beauty of discovering ‘barabari wala pyaar’, equal love in unexpected circumstances. The story is set against the backdrop of family ties and personal rediscovery.

Being part of such love story, R Madhavan said in a statement, "Aap Jaisa Koi is unlike any love story I’ve done before, it’s quiet, awkward, and deeply human. Shrirenu is one of the most complex characters I’ve played, someone who longs for companionship and closeness, but doesn’t quite know how to ask for it, yet he is rich with emotion underneath. This film isn’t loud or dramatic, it’s patient, gentle, and deeply affecting. I was drawn to how it speaks to all the people who’ve felt overlooked in life or love. Aap Jaisa Koi is a reminder that it’s never too late to start living on your own terms. It’s a story about vulnerability, rediscovery, and the idea that it’s never too late to open your heart."
