'Aaradhya Is Not Aware Of Divorce Rumours About Aishwarya Rai And Me', Says Abhishek Bachchan

Abhishek Bachchan has provided an unusual view into how his family deals with ongoing criticism, particularly the persistent rumours about his romance with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. In a recent conversation, the actor described how their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, has been brought up to stay grounded and rise above internet noise. Abhishek Bachchan was questioned about if Aaradhya was aware of all the gossip about her parents, claiming that she must not be aware as she doesn't even own a phone.

Abhishek Bachchan revealed that Aishwarya has been instrumental in guiding their daughter Aaradhya through the commotion surrounding their public lives while speaking to PeepingMoon.

Abhishek Bachchan said, "I hope not. She's a very mature girl. She's a wonderful girl, and her mother has done a wonderful job. I don’t think she’s aware, but I don't think that’s part of her priority. She doesn't have a phone; she's 14. If her friends want to get in touch with her, they have to call her mother’s phone. That’s something we decided on a long time ago."

Abhishek Bachchan stated that Aaradhya does have internet access. However, he doesn't believe that her parents' rumours 'interest her.'

Abhishek Bachchan added, "She's more interested in doing her homework; she loves school. I don’t think she would search our names on Google. She won't believe anything; her mother has taught her well enough not to believe everything that she reads. Like my parents were with me, we’re completely honest with the family. So there’s never been an occasion where anybody needs to question anyone."

Abhishek Bachchan called reports that he and Aishwarya were divorcing 'rubbish, vicious, and incorrect,' pointing out that people had frequently made up rumours about their relationship.

About Abhishek And Aishwarya Rai

Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai fell in love while filming Umrao Jaan (2006) and Guru (2007). In a private ceremony, they were married in April 2007, and in 2011 they welcomed their daughter, Aaradhya.

On the work front, Aishwarya Rai last appeared in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan movie as Nandini. This year, Abhishek Bachcan acted in the movies Be Happy, Housefull 5, and Kaalidhar Laapata. He'll soon be seen in Shah Rukh Khan starrer King.
