Former child actor Jibraan Khan, who rose to fame with his memorable role in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, has recently become a victim of a serious financial fraud. According to reports, Khan was allegedly duped by the manager of his Bandra-based café, resulting in a staggering loss of Rs 34.99 lakh. The incident has come as a shock to many, given Khan’s transition from the world of films to entrepreneurship, where he invested his time and resources into building his business.

According to a report in News18, he fraudulent activity came to light after Khan discovered irregularities in the café’s accounts and suspected mismanagement of funds. Following this revelation, he promptly filed a complaint with the police, seeking justice and accountability for the betrayal of trust. Authorities have since launched an investigation into the matter to determine the extent of the fraud, track the misappropriated money and hold those responsible accountable.

As per the complaint filed, Jibraan Khan’s café manager, identified as Ajay Singh Rawat, was entrusted with the crucial responsibility of depositing the establishment’s daily earnings into the bank. This trust, however, appears to have been gravely misplaced. Over a considerable period of time, Rawat allegedly failed to deposit funds amounting to a staggering Rs 34.99 lakh, creating a massive financial discrepancy that eventually came to light.

Upon discovering the alleged misappropriation of funds, Khan immediately approached the police to take legal action against his manager. A case of cheating has since been registered against Rawat, with law enforcement authorities now actively investigating the matter. In addition to scrutinizing the financial records, the police have also launched a search operation to trace and apprehend Rawat, who remains absconding.
