Tamil actor Vishal has been making headlines due to rumours surrounding his wedding plans. For years, the 47-year-old actor's personal life has been a topic of discussion. Amid the buzz, Vishal officially announced that he is set to tie the knot with actress Sai Dhanshika. The couple also revealed their wedding date.
Vishal Announces Wedding With Sai Dhanshika
Proving rumours to be true, actor Vishal, who attended the audio launch event of the film Yogi Da featuring Sai Dhanshika, surprised everyone with their wedding announcement. In the viral video, Sai can be heard saying, "There is nothing to hide now." The actress asks Vishal, 'Shall we tell now?' after his nod, she says, "We are planning on getting married on August 29."
Sai adds, "I have known Vishal for 15 years. Wherever we meet, he has always given due respect. Whenever I have had issues, he has raised his voice for me. When there was a problem, he came to my house. We started speaking to each other recently and it(love) blossomed then. It occurred to him and to me as well. We mutually accepted it. We realised that this was going to lead to marriage. So why wait? There is only one thing. I want him to be happy." Then turning around to Vishal, she said, "I love you."

Vishal, known for his performances in movies like Madha Gaja Raja, Aambala, and Sandakozhi and also a key member of the Nadigar Sangam (Tamil Film Actors Association). Earlier, he shared that he would settle down after the completion of the Nadigar Sangam building, a project for which they raised funds for nearly nine years ago. In a recent media interaction, he revealed, “Yes, I’ve found the person. We’ve had conversations about marriage, and this will be a love marriage. I’ll announce more details about the bride and the wedding date very soon.” Now, finally, he has introduced the person he is going to marry.
Who is Sai Dhanshika?
Born on November 20, 1989, Sai Dhanshika hails from Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. The actress has made her name in the Tamil cinema since her debut in 2006 with the movie Thirudi. She gained recognition for her performances in movies including Peranmai, Aravaan, Paradesi and Kabali.
Dhanshika's portrayal as a young, abandoned woman with a child in Paradesi earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress. She is gearing up for the upcoming movie Yogi Da. The action Tamil movie is directed by Gowtham Krishna.
