Ahan Shetty made his Bollywood debut with Tadap, released in 2021. Director Milan Luthria helmed this dramatic Hindi remake of the Telugu movie RX 100. Tadap featured Ahan opposite Tara Sutaria, with notable supporting performances from seasoned actors Saurabh Shukla and Kumud Mishra. The star kid will next be seen in the patriotic tale Border 2. Making a shift in his movie choices, Ahan is reportedly expected to be a part of India’s first horror movie inspired by a national tragedy. The promising actor is expected to feature in the mass entertainer, which will blend a horror plot with a powerful love story.
Ahan Shetty has been finalised to headline the groundbreaking project, as per a report in Bollywood Hungama. The title, said to be especially intriguing, will be unveiled soon, along with the announcement of the female lead. Produced by Khyati Madaan under her banner Not Out Entertainment and by Prashant Gunjalkar, the movie’s screenplay will be written by the Ghoul’s director Patrick Graham. He is a London Film School alumnus and a prominent filmmaker known for his horror and dystopian work. He rose to prominence in India with his writing and directorial debut on the Netflix mini-series Ghoul, produced by Blumhouse Productions.

After a decade at major studios like Red Chillies, Disney India and Maddock Films, Khyati Madaan launched Not Out Entertainment earlier this year. Her slate has upcoming projects like Abhootpurva, a romantic horror-comedy, and a slice-of-life drama helmed by Habib Faisal, the National Award-winning director of Do Dooni Chaar and Ishaqzaade. By combining a national tragedy with the popular genres of horror and mainstream entertainment, Ahan Shetty’s movie is designed to be a crowd-pleaser for Hindi-speaking audiences.
