Single Papa, starring Kunal Kemmu and Aisha Ahmed, is now streaming on Netflix. The comedy-drama web series revolves around a man-child who adopts a baby after his divorce. In an exclusive conversation with The Daily Jagran, Aisha Ahmed, who plays the female lead, talked about the much-talked about movie. She noted that the script was so compelling that she finished all eight episodes in a single sitting. Ahmed explained that the story felt remarkably light and easy to digest, which made her view it through the lens of an audience looking for something fun and accessible.
Talking about her character Dr. Shreya Garwal, widely described as a 'green-flag', Aisha said, "I followed the script. We barely did any improvisations, so they were not needed. I just tried to play the character very true to what the writing of it was and you have to give it to Neeraj and Ishita. They wrote such a nuanced character, so simply, that at no point it seems preachy, at no point it seems she's trying too hard. It's just very simply written and I tried to stick to that and play it as simply as possible."
Aisha also opened up about her experience of working with Kunal Kemmu. She said she was 'very nervous' before they started shooting for Single Papa. Aisha called him a 'brilliant actor and talented director', saying, "he knows so much more when it comes to craft".
"I was genuinely very nervous, but once I got on set, I think I learned so much from him, honestly and Shruti being on set was very enriching, because all the people associated with it, not just the cast, but also the crew, was really very learned in that sense," said the actress.

Created by the creative duo Neeraj Udhwani and Ishita Moitra, the show centers on the life of Gaurav "GG" Gehlot, portrayed by Kunal Khemu.
