There is a major update for fans eagerly waiting for Drishyam 3 hindi version. Starring Ajay Devgn, the film has reportedly completed filming and is now moving into the post-production stage. Producer Abhishek Pathak recently shared fresh details about the project and revealed that the Hindi adaptation will follow a different narrative path from the Malayalam original. The film is currently on track for its planned theatrical release on October 2, 2026.
Drishyam 3 Filmmaker Shares Major Update On Film
According to a recent report by 123telugu, the Hindi adaptation of Drishyam 3 has achieved a significant milestone. The makers have officially completed the principal shoot, and only minor patchwork remains. The project has now entered the post-production phase, where editing and other technical work will be finalised before release.
Earlier, Drishyam 3 director Abhishek Pathak confirmed the development during a recent conversation with Pinkvilla. Earlier, the film's official announcement teaser was released on December 22, 2025 and also unveiled that the film is scheduled to arrive in theatres on October 2, 2026. Take a look;

Drishyam 3 Hindi Adaptation Will Be Different From Malayalam
Speaking about the upcoming film, Abhishek Pathak emphasized that the Hindi version will not be identical to the Malayalam original.
He said,"People are currently watching something different in the Malayalam Drishyam. For Hindi audiences, I have created a completely different track that will work very well here. The Malayalam version focuses more on family drama, while the Hindi version is a family thriller. When the trailer releases, viewers will understand how different the two films are."
His statement has increased curiosity among fans who are eager to see how the story unfolds in the Hindi adaptation.
