Ajay Devgn Gives THIS Statement When Asked About Casting Daughter Nysa In Kajol Starrer Maa

The trailer of Kajol starrer Maa was released today. It is a mythological horror film which is slated to release in theatres on June 27. The film also stars Ronit Roy and Indraneil Sengupta in key roles. Maa has been directed by Vishal Furia and produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande. At the trailer launch of Maa, Ajay was asked whether he thought of casting his daughter, Nysa Devgn, in the movie. His reaction also hinted that Nysa might not have a Bollywood debut anytime soon. 

Ajay Devgn said, “She is not interested in this kind of work.” This is not the first time; earlier this year, Kajol also addressed rumours of Nysa’s Bollywood debut. The actress told News18, “Bilkul nai..no, I think..vo 22 saal ki ho gaye hai..hone wali hai abhi.. I think she has made up her mind that ki nai aane wali hai abhi.” 

Kajol’s Maa trailer gave a spooky vibe, which takes the audience into dark roads and unknown territory. Kajol’s character can be seen driving a car while her daughter is sitting beside and asking her to speed up. Meanwhile, a dead body crashes into their car’s window. After which  Kajol’s character takes her daughter to an old spooky mansion and asks her not to go anywhere without asking. But the environment kept them in terror. While sharing the trailer of the movie, Kajol wrote on Instagram, “Rakshak. Bhakshak. MAA. The protector. The destroyer. #MaaTrailer out now - link in bio. In cinemas 27th June. #MaaTheFilm.”
