Ajey Teaser Out: The makers of Ajey: The Untold Story Of A Yogi dropped the much-awaited teaser of the movie on Wednesday on Instagram. Anant Joshi starrer movie is directed by Ravindra Gautam and produced by Ritu Mengi. It is a biographical film inspired by the intriguing biography of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath - The Monk Who Became Chief Minister, authored by Shantanu Gupta. The movie also stars Paresh Rawal, Dinesh Lal Yadav (Nirahua), Ajay Mengi, Pawan Malhotra, Rajesh Khattar, Garima Vikrant Singh, and Sarwar Ahuja in pivotal roles.

Ajey’s teaser depicted the story of a man who witnessed life and switched from spiritual leadership to political prominence. The short clip revealed the challenges faced by Anant Joshi’s character and showed his ideological battles and struggles against systemic corruption. With intense drama, thought-provoking dialogues and stunning visuals, the movie seems to be promising.

Soon after the teaser was uploaded by the official page of Samrat Cinematics, netizens flooded the comment section with praises for the team. One social media user wrote, “Anant, needless to say, you’re a very good actor. The trailer arouses curiosity about your character’s journey.” Another one showed its excitement and commented, “Super excited for this.” A third person called the movie, “Raw, real and revolutionary!” Someone predicted the movie’s success and wrote, “Superhit already.”

The music is composed by Meet Bros and will be available under the Samrat Cinematics banner. Singers like Sonu Nigam, B Praak, and Mika Singh, among others, will have their songs in the movie. Ajey: The Untold Story of a Yogi is slated for a worldwide release on August 1, 2025. It will be screened in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

On the work front, Ajey’s main lead actor, Anant Joshi has been a part of several prominent projects like 12th Fail, Maamla Legal Hai, Virgin Bhasskar and Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein.
