Akhil Akkineni recently stepped out for a family dinner to celebrate his wife Zainab Ravdjee’s first birthday after tying the knot with her. The Telugu actor took vows with his longtime girlfriend Zainab on June 6 this year in Hyderabad, and welcomed her into his family. The couple maintained a low profile during their courtship period and later announced their engagement in November 2024. The wedding was a traditional Telugu affair held at the family's cherished Annapurna Studios. Close friends and family, including Akhil's parents Nagarjuna and Amala, and his half-brother Naga Chaitanya with his wife Sobhita Dhulipala attended the wedding festivities.

The youngest Akkineni Kodalu (daughter-in-law) recently celebrated her birthday on September 9 with the Akkineni clan. A video of the entire family arriving at a fancy restaurant has been making rounds on the internet. The video featured Akhil with his mother Amala walking ahead of the other family members, while Zainab smiled her way alongside Nagarjuna and Chaitanya outside the restaurant. The birthday girl opted for a breezy black and white striped kaftan.

In another video of them arriving, Chaitanya can be seen hugging Akhil with a big smile on his face. However, fans quickly noticed the absence of the other Kodalu of the Akkineni family, Sobhita Dhulipala. A social media user commented, “Where is Sobhita????” One more fan expressed, “Sobhita ledu (Sobhita isn’t there).” Other netizens congratulated the birthday girl and wished her well in the comments section. Earlier in the day, Akhil posted a monochrome picture on his Instagram story to wish Zainab on her birthday. Posting a picture of them holding each other, he wrote, “Happy birthday my life.”

Professionally, the Akkineni family seems to have a packed calendar. Akhil is all set to come up with his movie ‘Lenin’ this year, meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya is busy with his upcoming mysterious adventure drama, tentatively titled ‘NC24’. Actor Nagarjuna was recently seen in the movie Coolie, and is currently working on his 100th movie titled King 100.
