Alappuzha Gymkhana OTT Release: Alappuzha Gymkhana, which opened in theatres on April 10, 2025, is about a group of college students who exploit a boxing quota to gain admission, but after their demanding coach discovers their ploy, they are forced to train in real life.

Alappuzha Gymkhana, which is set in Alappuzha, stars a group of up-and-coming actors, including Franco Francis, Lukman Avaran, Sandeep Pradeep, Anagha Ravi and Ganapathi.

When And Where To Watch Alappuzha Gymkhana?

Alappuzha Gymkhana, a Malayalam sports drama, will soon be available online on the OTT platform, but as per the latest reports, it's neither Amazon Prime Video nor JioHotstar. Beginning on June 5, the Khalid Rahman-directed movie will be streamed on SonyLIV, as per a report by Filmibeat. The movie, which opened to positive reviews, will be available for viewing in five different languages -  Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and of course, Malayalam.

Alappuzha Gymkhana Storyline, Budget And Box Office Report

Alappuzha Gymkhana, a Malayalam sports movie, had a fantastic run at the box office. As of right now, the Naslen starrer is the third-highest-grossing Mollywood production of 2025 worldwide. According to reports, this coming-of-age comedy was constructed at a budget of 12 crores for the budget recovery. With a gross revenue of Rs 50 crore in India, the film has earned the title of a blockbuster.

Despite portraying largely ordinary teens with a strong attitude, Naslen's youthful ensemble wins hearts by just remaining true to their roles. They gather around a table and toast to their class 12 grades, since the majority of them don't make it. After failing in Class 12, Jojo (Naslen) advises the group to attempt boxing in order to earn some good grades and meet the sports requirement for college. A ringside seat to youth, anarchy and coming of age, it's more than just a sports drama. 

As the story progresses, the gang finally faces periods of reflection and rekindled ambition amid the backdrop of sports training, teenage anxieties and shifting loyalties.

Ratheesh Ravi wrote the dialogue for Alappuzha Gymkhana, which Khalid Rahman and Sreeni Saseendran co-wrote. Khalid Rahman, Jobin George, Sameer Karat, and Subeesh Kannanchery are the producers. The technical team consists of Nishadh Yusuf (editing), Vishnu Vijay (music), and Jimshi Khalid (cinematography).
