Alia Bhatt, like everyone else right now, is enjoying the festivities of Ganesh Chaturthi with her family. The actress shared glimpses from the celebrations with her mother-in-law and veteran actress Neetu Kapoor. But what caught attention was her festive look and radiant glow. The celebration was filled with laughter, blessings and some delicious modaks. Interestingly, her husband and actor Ranbir Kapoor was missing from the photos. Alia, who has been gearing up for her upcoming films Alpha and Love & War, took to her Instagram and shared a series of photos from Ganesh Chaturthi. The album starts with a mirror selfie featuring the actress in a white churidaar set that she wore on the occasion, exuding simplicity and elegance. She was also seen in a pink saree paired with golden jewellery and minimal makeup. In another photo, she can be seen posing with her mother-in-law, Neetu, in front of Lord Ganesha's idol as they celebrated the festival with joy. On Sunday, Ranbir Kapoor, along with his mother Neetu, was seen performing a pooja during Ganpati Visarjan at a pandal in Mumbai. The actor was seen carrying Bappa in his hands and the two joined in performing Ganpati Visarjan with the rest of the devotees. The videos and photos of the mother-son duo went viral. Alia's attendance was missing.

Alia Bhatt's Upcoming Movies

Alia was last seen in Jigra, which underperformed at the box office. However, her performance impressed the audience. Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for her upcoming projects. She will be in the spy action thriller Alpha. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the movie also features Sharvari and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles.

Alia will also star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly anticipated movie Love & War, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. This project will mark her reunion with Bhansali after their successful venture, Gangubai Kathiawadi. The first glimpse of the movie is expected to be released on Ranbir's birthday in September.
