Alpha Box Office Collection Day 7 In India: The first week box office results are in for the new action film Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. The film has struggled to draw large crowds in its opening week. Released on July 3, the spy thriller has failed to cross the Rs 50 crore (approximately £4.7 million) net mark in India, finishing its first seven days with a disappointing domestic haul.

According to box office tracker Sacnilk, Alpha earned between Rs 2 crore and Rs 2.60 crore on Thursday, July 9. This marked its lowest single-day earnings since its release. The Bollywood movie's total net collection in India now stands at Rs 47.55 crore, with a domestic gross of Rs 56.66 crore.

Alpha Box Office Collection Day 7 Worldwide

While Alpha has struggled at home, its international performance has provided some minor relief for the filmmakers. On Day 7, Alpha brought in an additional Rs 1.25 crore from overseas markets. This brings its total overseas gross to Rs 22.55 crore.

When combining domestic and international ticket sales, the worldwide gross collection for Alpha stands at Rs 79.21 crore. While these global figures look slightly better, the film faces a difficult path ahead. With an estimated production budget of Rs 125 crore, industry experts suggest the movie is headed toward a major financial loss.

Alpha Cast And Plot

Alpha is directed by Shiv Rawail and is notable for being the first film in the YRF Spy Universe to feature female lead actors. The story follows two elite agents, played by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, as they take on a dangerous villain portrayed by Bobby Deol.

Alpha also features Anil Kapoor, alongside a special guest appearance by Hrithik Roshan. Despite the star-studded cast, the movie has received mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike.

This marks the third consecutive disappointment for the franchise following Tiger 3 and War 2. Although future projects like Tiger Vs Pathaan and Pathaan 2 are planned, these repeated failures raise serious questions about the direction of the series.
