Ameesha Patel, who made a comeback to the big screen in 2023 with Gadar 2, is well-liked by both her fans and the paparazzi. The photographers recently caught sight of the actor, and her open conversation with them was very pleasant. She looked stunning in an off-the-shoulder gown with a front split that was golden and glittering. She accessorised her ensemble with exquisite earrings and a stunning bun. While the actor looked dazzling, it was her interaction with the paps that created a lot of buzz. So, what happened? When the paparazzi mistook Ameesha Patel for Jaya Bachchan, she remarked, 'mere Amitabh Bachchan kahan hain?' jokingly.

Ameesha Patel expressed her thoughts after the photographers brought up Jaya Bachchan's widely shared remark against the behaviour and look of the paparazzi. "Everyone has their own opinion, and she (Jaya) is entitled to her opinion, lekin main aaplog sabse bohot pyaar karti hoon. I love the media, aap log bohot mehnat karte ho, and you all are superb."

Ameesha Patel continued by saying that many paparazzi think they have the right to snap photos and talk to individuals in any way they choose just because they have a cell phone. On social media, though, this remark caused quite a commotion.

The whole thing started when Barkha Dutt questioned Jaya Bachchan about her relationship with the paparazzi at an event. In response, she said she has 'zero relationship' with them. She stated that she has a great deal of respect for the media, but she made it clear that she does not include paparazzi in that group.

Jaya Bachchan said, "Magar yeh jo bahar drainpipe tight, gande gande pant pehen ke, haath mein mobile leke… they think that because they have a mobile, they can take your picture and say what they want. And the kind of comments they pass — what kind of people are these people? Kahan se aate hain? Kis tarah ka education hai? Kya background hai?"

Jaya Bachchan has repeatedly shown signs of discomfort when being photographed and has often snapped at the paparazzi when requested for photos, so this wasn't her first encounter with them.
