Following the release of a widely shared video purportedly showing Mrunal Thakur and Dhanush holding hands during the former's birthday celebration, the duo have taken center stage. Fans and followers have been assembling clues ever since, indicating that something more than friendship might be brewing. As if to add fuel to the fire, eagle eyed fans observed that Mrunal Thakur recently started following Dhanush's two sisters on Instagram. Infact, they follow her back too. Yes, you right that right!

Mrunal Thakur may already be close to Dhanush's family, since his elder sisters, Vimala Geetha and Dr. Karthika Karthik followed her back on Instagram. It's also no secret that the Kuberaa actor has a close relationship with his two sisters. It is said that Dhanush meets with them at least twice a month and is quite close to them.

Mrunal Thakur and Dhanush's dating rumours began when the latter showed up for Son Of Sardaar 2 actor's star-studded birthday bash on August 1. Social media was immediately enthralled when an inside video from the party went viral and showed Dhanush clutching Mrunal's hand.

Dhanush has stated that spending time with his loved ones is his main priority, demonstrating how much he values family time. It's interesting to note that Mrunal Thakur's covert Instagram following of Vimala and Dr. Karthika was initially overlooked. However, supporters are now questioning whether this action indicates a stronger bond between them. Dhanush hasn't been connected to anyone in this manner in a long time.

Dhanush was married to Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya for eighteen years before announcing his separation and pursuing divorce in 2024.  They have two boys together -  Linga and Yatra. Meanwhile, Mrunal was able to get access to the South thanks to Sita Ramam's success.  She has, however, also been working in Mumbai at the same time. She frequently travels between Mumbai and Hyderabad, and it is said that she initially met Dhanush during an event in the South. That's where the two began to catch up.

Meanwhile Mrunal Thakur keeps quiet and balances her professional obligations despite the growing clamour surrounding their relationship. The actor is currently filming Dacoit: A Love Story in Mumbai with Adivi Sesh. Dhanush, on the other hand, was seen in Kuberaa, which was well praised by both reviewers and viewers. He will be seen in Kalam: The Missile Man of India, Idly Kadai, Tere Ishk Mein, D54 starring Vignesh Raja, D55 starring Rajkumar Periyasamy, and D56 starring Mari Selvaraj. In addition, he is working with filmmaker H. Vinoth on another movie and will make a comeback with Vada Chennai 2.
